Shaleen is a highly experienced Employment Relations Specialist with a strong track record of advising clients across a wide range of industries throughout New Zealand. With deep expertise in employment legislation, she has successfully guided organisations through complex workplace matters including restructures, performance management, disciplinary and medical incapacity processes, collective bargaining, and dispute resolution.


Shaleen has over 10 years of experience working across the public and private sector. She has held senior roles at some of New Zealand’s most respected employment relations firms, where she led teams and provided strategic counsel that assisted clients with achieving meaningful outcomes.


Shaleen has represented clients in mediations and negotiated settlement agreements that promoted constructive and forward-focused resolutions.


In leadership roles, Shaleen has mentored high-performing teams and delivered data-driven insights to senior management, all while fostering strong, collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.


Beyond her professional advisory work, Shaleen has also served as a National Delegate for New Zealand’s largest trade union, where she was a passionate advocate for improved working conditions.
